The city of Minneapolis had been the epicenter of the sports world from late 1991 to the end of March in 1992. The Twins won the World Series in October of '91. The Super Bowl was held there in January. Finally, the Metrodome would host the 1992 Final Four. Duke, Indiana, Michigan and Cincinnati came to the Twin Cities in search of a National Championship!
